PLAN A VISIT
WHAT TO EXPECT
There are many churches out there and each one is unique. You may be wondering what to
expect when you visit AAC.
WHAT IS THE CULTURE LIKE?
AAC is a positive and loving congregation. We worship God enthusiastically and do our best to encourage and
support each other. We’re laid back pursuers of Jesus who have left religion and judgment behind. We want you to
feel loved, encouraged, and accepted when you’re with us.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
IS THERE SOMETHING FOR MY KIDS?
WILL I BE EXPECTED TO PARTICIPATE? - NO!
AM I EXPECTED TO GIVE MONEY? - NO!
The folks at AAC generally dress casually. You can wear whatever makes you feel comfortable; wear your favorite
shorts and t-shirt or your best dress or suit and you’ll be right at home.
We love kids! There is a nursery area for babies, and Kid’s church for children up to 13. All are staffed with qualified
workers who have been trained and given full background checks.
WHAT ARE THE SERVICES LIKE?
Services are exciting and inspirational. We sing and worship together. We pray together and for each other. The
sermons are designed to help you in your daily life. Worship services usually last about and hour and a half.
There may be times when the church family is encouraged to raise their hands or sing out loud, but you won’t be
expected to do anything you’re not comfortable doing. Be as involved as you like.
We do receive an offering on Sunday, but as a guest, we do not expect you to make a donation. Our people know
this so no one will be surprised when you don’t drop something in.
